Celadon Contingencies is part of “Sketches for a Comparative Analysis of Container Technologies”, an ongoing investigation into the origins and continuities of cultural practices of containing.
Presuming that containers are media for both coping with as well as exploiting contingency, continuations from their earliest Neolithic forms to their diverse contemporary manifestations are explored.
